First of all, thanks to Baldrick's excellent instructions, I've ALMOST gone from no understanding to completing this project!
When going to see "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," the audience has lines to scream at the screen.
I have a DVD with a live audience recording as the 2nd audio track & I wanted to add the 'audience participation' subtitles as a 2nd subtitle track as a 'training DVD.'
I used DVDFab to rip the main movie with only the original English audio & subtitles, & the audience audio track.
Using "Method 1", I demuxed/remuxed the original into a "wizard" directory.
Using SubtitleCreator, I exported the original English subtitles (jpgs) to an "Old Subs" directory.
Then I made an XLS to dissect the Notepad file into the separate parts so I could alter them & have the XLS piece together the new Subs.
(I think this is where I went wrong: )
I had the XLS find the largest horizontal, vertical, width, & lines from each subtitle & reassign that number to all subtitles.
I then altered the subtitle text, successfully finished the process & watched the VOBs on the PC.
(Selected both letterbox & widescreen for both tracks...)
On the PC everything is perfect.
On the DVD player, several subtitles are missing & several are lagging.
Others are exact...
Any ideas?
Also, if the problem is my setting the position wrong, how do I know what to set them at? The original subtitles had a different H,V,W, & Lines for each individual subtitle...
