another case of vdub not recognizing avisynth scripts......

Hi,

I'm a newbie, and have some similar problems with others on the forum in running avisynth scripts in virtualdub. It was working fine until today, when virtualdub suddenly cannot recognise anything from my old avi scripts that worked fine unti now. Actually, both were working, when I learned how to rotate video, adjust brightness, using built-in scripts on vdub.

I was trying to run the avisynth scripts necessary to share or split the pane into two separate videos when avisynth commands were suddenly not recognized by vdub.

I/m running vdub 1.9.11 build, and the avisynth 258 version. I have been dicking around all morning without success.

I did reboot the system, download the new versions of both vdub and avisynth, as well as tried some of the ideas from similar threads (downloaded cedocida codec).

basic commands like avisource (and others) are still not recognized by vdub.

I am using a bunch of other programs to do video and image editing and transformation, including , including DVD slideshouw GUI, WINff, and probably others I can't think of at the momnent.

Thanks in advance for any help provided. Please advise.

James
