Hi Guys, Need a bit of help with the options I have with a Sony DCR HC14E camcorder, with a defective tape mechanism, ( tape is not installing properly). Can I use this cam to record direct to a computer HDD without a tape installed? Can I hook up this cam to the TV and use a VCR to record? Can I use this cam as a webcam? Just thought, would check out my options before writing this cam off. Any helpful suggestions welcomed. I would have a go at fixing it but I would not know where to start.
