Hello there everyone.
I bought my Panasonic NV-HS1000 new in the mid nineties and over the years it has seen many hours of use.
It hasn't been at it's best now for quite some years and playback and record quality have slowly been getting worse until last week when I completely lost all picture but still have audio. I opened it up and saw that some of the video heads have actually been chipped with what I assume to be copper exposed.
So what I'm really asking is does anyone have a NV-HS1000 video head for sale or does anyone know where I can get one or even just know the part number because I still like to use it from time to time watching home movies and even recording from time to time as I find it easier that using my HDD recorder which takes 5 minutes to warm up before you can start recording. (Modern tech eh :rolleyes:)
