SUPER EASY WAY TO ADD SUBTITLES TO DVD 6 STEPS or LESS

Ok, so you have DECRYPTED DVD .vob files and you have the subtitle file (which you downloaded from some site). This also works with other file types that you want to add subtitles to and put on DVD. This is EASY and FREE I promise.

You need AVIDEMUX and DVDFLICK

1) Use AVIDEMUX to join the .VOB files of the main movie (if required)

2) leave video and audio both as "copy" (left hand side)

3) save the newly joined file as a .MPG Muxer (TS) file (it shouldn't re-encode anything so it will be fast)

4) open this newly created file in DVDFLICK (or any video type file compatible with DVDFLICK)

5) edit the video properties (on the right hand side) by adding the subtitles (the .srt file you downloaded) add a menu or chapter elements if you wish

6) hit MAKE DVD ISO (keep the intermediate files so you can check that the subtitles are working before burning it)

If the file was a .VOB file and you had the AVIDEUMX set to video copy and audio copy and you saved it as MPG (TS) then DVD flick should start encoding files almost right away, running at high frame rate (based on the speed of your computer)

Now wait for the process to complete.... DVDFLICK will demultiplex the file, add the subtitles and remultiplex it for you.... of course, you will want to check to make sure the subtitles are actually lined up and working when the process is complete (before you burn it to disk).

Hope that helps, worked for me, so good luck! :)

If DVDFLICK encounters errors, make sure you don't have the priority too high and check to make sure the .SRT file isn't really long... shorten it to something 8 character or less.
