.mov to DVD

I have a movie that I want to put on a DVD. It is a .mov file 1080p (Apple ProRes 422) and it's 1 hour long, 61 GB. Can someone tell me the steps I need to take to get it to where I can burn it to a home playable DVD? I am trying to stay away from Blu-Ray because a lot of people that will be buying the DVD don't have Blu-Ray.
I've read numerous articles, but I can find a solution specific to the size of the movie I'm working with. Thanks!
