DVDStyler Causing A/V Sync Issue

Hey guys/girls, to start this off I'm very new to making DVDs. The Problem I'm having is my audio is slightly behind the video. They play fine on the computer but after they are burned they go out of sync.

The original files are .mkv but I used Freemake Video Converter to re-encode them to .mpg and enhanced the quality (I think) but I still have the originals.

Other Info:
Burned with: DVDStyler
Burned on: Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL 8.5GB
Video:
.mkv: H264 1280x720 16:9 1360 Kbps 23.98 fps AC3 48 KHz 384 Kbps 5.1
.mpg: MPEG2VIDEO 1280x720 16:9 3637 Kbps 23.98 MP2 48KHz 256 Kbps Stereo
DVDStyler Settings:
Video bitrate: 5 MBit/ss
Audio bitrate: 384 Kbit/s (Thought if I matched it that would fix it)
Video Format: NTSC 720x480
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Audio Format: AC3 48 kHz

(Ask if you need more information)

Um, I'm not doing a movie I'm doing a mini-series so I would like to keep DVDStyler (or something like it) for navigation sakes.

Thanks for the help I will be watching this thread closely. As I'm a Complete Novice you will need to hold my hand for almost anything.

EDIT: Computer Specs (If needed) are on my profile.
