How Do I Create Uniform Intros & Endings?

I'm new to video production and this is my first post in here. I'd like to know how to create uniform intros & endings for my videos? My plan is to shoot, produce & upload a lot of videos (to youtube). I've seen other people who have done something similar. And what caught my attention is that they have a cool intro which starts all their videos. It creates a sense of uniformity & makes everything look quite professional. I'd like to do that too.

I have Sony Vegas Studio (11). I'm not sure if what I'm looking to do is to create a "template", or if I need to buy a pre-made intro & customize it with text & music or how all this works.

If anyone can please get me going in the right direction, I would be most appreciative.
