hello. i'm new to this so apologies if this question's been answered before.
I have several files in TS format (720x576, 8000kpbs, 25 frames sec). they are all playing fine but quite noisy/grainy on my machine (netbook- dual core atom, 1gb ram).
However when I play direct from my Hdd to 42" HD tv they play fine with no grain at all. Shouldn't this be the other way round if anything? I'm using mpc hc with core avc but it's same on other players as well. Would it have anything to do with bypassing the players when I go from HDD to tv?
