A lot of kids don't take care of dvds. They don't put them in cases, so they get scratched. At least that's what I did (do). Also, I have gone through countless players that die after a year. With vhs tapes, they can survive without a case. Sure, small parts of the movie may break up for a second, but at least it does not skip. Plus, I have an old vcr that just will not die. That's why I think they are better. What do you think?
