Why my Elgato game capture hd is lag ?

First my pc specs:

Im using Elgato the black one got it by mail from amazon.uk
The version drivers of the elgato im using now is: 1.41.13(513)


I just connected it to the playstation 3 and my pc as its written in the small guide came with it.
I see now the playstation 3 screen on my pc via the elgato software but before i event record anything i only clicked on the Live button its now lagging.


I try to mvoe between the menus of the ps3 and the lag is about 2-3 seconds. When i move my ps3 controller to the left for example it take about 2-3 seconds to make it on the ps3.

Whay is that ? Is my pc specs too low for it ? If so what do i need to change in my pc specs ?


My monitor is LG FLATRON W2486L my pc is connected to the monitor via dvi and gdmi i tried both and its lag.
What else can i do to solve it ? The lag is just when i clicked live not even recorded anything yet.
