Hello,
I recently purchased a TV tuner card for my PC and have managed to record something from one of the HD channels.
When navigating to the file, it became apparent that it is a MPEG-2 TS file.
Whilst this would not normally be a problem (since I could just get codecs or play it back through the PVR software), I do need to be either AVI, MP4 or MKV so that I am able to play it back on my network player.
I attempted to change it to MP4 (H.264) by importing it into a video editing software, which then re-encoded it and rendered it out, but that resulted in the picture quality becoming quite poor. So I'm back to square one.
I just want to be able to maintain the quality of the video/audio and am not worried about filesize at all. (the original is about 3GB).
Can anyone suggest what to do?
Thanks~
