LG blu-ray region free - how do I burn the file to CD-rom in ISO format?

I have a LG BD300 that I am trying to make region-free for non-blu ray DVD's.

I have downloaded the 6000.zip file per these instructions:

Problem is the cd-rom isn't readable by the DVD player for some reason, so I assume I am not burning it properly.

Any advice on what software to use to burn ISO, not joliet?
I used CDBurnerXP but having trouble.

Please help.
