Problem with .srt file

Hi all, first post here :)

I used SubRip to rip the subtitle on a DVD of mine, i`ve done this process several times before with good result but on this DVD i get small gaps in the subtitle as you can see in the picture..i`ve tried to re-rip the subtitle a couple of times but without result.

Anyone know why these gaps occur and is there a way to get rid of them?
