I have an .mkv file that I try to play on Sony BDV-E980W Blu Ray Home Theater System but it says "File corrupted or unsupported format". I then opened the file with mkvmerge and without changing any of the settings, created another .mkv. This new file plays on the Sony Blu Ray Player. However, when I try to fast forward, it goes forward for about 1 minute of movie and then quits. It then starts playing next file on my USB drive.
So, I need help on two issues:
1. Why the original file does not play on the Sony Blu Ray Player.
2. Why the FF doesn't work on the newly created .mkv file.
If anyone has a clue, please enlighten me on this. Here is the file info of the original file from Mediainfo:
