I have been scouring the internet for answers and only see conflicting information. I'm converting a bedroom into a home studio edit suite, and want the lighting to be as accurate as possible to D65/6500k. I will be editing and using Resolve for color correcting. I've not been able to find track lighting at 6500k with a high CRI 90+. All consumer lights at the hardware stores don't fit those specs.
I heard that some studios just use regular Tungsten/incadescent lighting for their colorist suites, but I question the accuracy you can get from using that warm of lighting. Anyone have suggestions for lighting an edit suite? Ideal Lume lights, etc?
