How to improve video quality

Hello everyone,

I'll start off by saying I really love making videos, altough I'm not that good at it - I still enjoy making them :D.

Now here's a problem. Last week a stray cat we adopted gave birth (We didn't even realise she was pregnant a few weeks before!), and I made such cute videos with my phone. I just copied it to my computer, but the quality isn't that good. (It's not that bad either though!)
It sometimes has a bit of a green undertone, and you can kind of see the pixels :p.

As I know very little about video editing, I was wondering if there is any way I can improve this quality? I'm guessing it wont be as simple as downloading a simple program, will it :P?

Or do I just need to videotape again with a proper camera :P. (Didn't think of it at the time)
