Hi,
I have a problem. Everything on vd has been fine until yesterday when i tried to install the .net framework on my linux os.
That`s when the ---- hit the fan. my virtual C/ drive which was auto created vanished with all my windows apps in it.
Luckily, i thought having backed up my programs i would just re-install. Noooo...Of course not, nothing is that straightforward in the tech world.
I re-created the C/ drive and put vd in common files.
Installed ffdshow in vd and 200 pluglins in the plugins folder - oddly enough `178 with 6 failed ` was indicated.
I also installed the Xvid codec as strange as it may seem was missing in the video compression table ?
I then tried to convert an h264 video to Xvid and all was well ( so i thought ) , until i realized no numbers were moving in the little table converter , just the time.
The time just kept on growing to 6 hrs for a 300 mb conversion , so something was wrong.
There is the problem , every conversion or attempted conversion is the same - only the time scale moves whilst everything else remains static.
Please advise. Thanks.:(
