Any ideas on how to set up DIY streaming video monitor of rear-facing baby in back seat carrier in a car?
Baby cries while I'm driving. I want practical way to see what's going on with the baby without having to stop the car.
I dont need super HD; also prefer not to be dependent on IP system (thus the wires). I also want to plug into the car's AC power supply.
Heres my fantasy product (decidedly & purposefully low-tech):
1. Analog or digital camera pointed at baby (Ill figure out how to harness the camera).
2. Video-only signal transmission wire from camera to small, dedicated LCD display in driver compartment (7
or less is sufficient). Wonder if it could be something simpler than an RCA cable?
3. AC wire from LCD display to car power source (USB or cigarette lighter?)
Also wondering if the signal transmission wire from camera to display can also serve as a power source for the camera?
Any ideas?
